A new magazine celebrating the 50th anniversary of M*A*S*H is now available for sale in the United States. You may not find it on newsstands, if newsstands still exist, but I’ve seen it for sale in grocery stores and it may be available in big box stores like Target or Walmart as well as bookstores like Barnes & Noble.
Hollywood Spotlight: The Ultimate Guide to M*A*S*H is published by Centennial Entertainment, has a cover price of $13.99, and should be on display until October 24. Similar magazine have been published for movies, TV shows, and entertainment brands like Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Bridgerton, and The Wizard of Oz.

The magazine runs for 98 pages and includes 27 sections like “Key Personnel” and “Abyssinia Henry” and “The Real Military Men” and “The Best Lines.” There are individual sections for all 11 seasons and a special trivia section that mentions M-U-S-H!
Earlier this year, LIFE reissued its October 2021 magazine titled M*A*S*H: TV’s Most Extraordinary Comedy for commemorate the 50th anniversary of the series.

I managed to pick myself up a copy just the other evening; I almost passed on it at first, because I thought it was a reprint of the magazine that was published a few years back from LIFE BOOKS, but a double checking of it indicated to me that it wasn’t the same. I haven’t had a chance to actually read through it just yet, though I do plan to – I doubt that there’ll be any kind of new information in it that I’m not already aware or knowledgeable of, but it still should be something to hold onto given the milestone occasion.
