Yet another cable channel has started airing M*A*S*H. That makes four in the past few months. WGN America debuted the series on Thursday (March 2nd). To celebrate the classic sitcom, WGN America is showing a lengthy M*A*S*H marathon today.
Based on WGN America’s official schedule (through March 17th), it looks like M*A*S*H will air regularly from 12-4PM ET on Tuesdays; 9AM-4PM ET on Thursdays; and 9AM-1PM ET on Fridays.

Today’s marathon kicked off at 9AM ET and will continue through midnight. The 15-hour marathon features 30 episodes. Here’s a rundown:

For the record, SundanceTV began airing M*A*S*H last November, AMC started airing it in January, and the series returned to TV Land in February. It also airs regularly on broadcast network MeTV.
I’m very curious to know why M*A*S*H is suddenly available on so many cable channels. There has to be overlap, meaning many viewers can pick from two or more channels. Perhaps 20th Century Fox lowered the price for M*A*S*H?

I’ve been watching the marathon this morning! 🙂 I was wondering if you were going to post about it today, RJ. I was looking for a post about earlier this morning, and I commented about the marathon on the latest polls discussion. 🙂 Now the trick is trying to balance watching M*A*S*H and studying, lol!
I’m in Phoenix — on WGN Channel 54 –it’s almost 10 AM — no MASH Marathon yet. It currently shows 5 – 7 PM M- F —that’s all. What’s happening please? Thank you.
