MASH4077TV.com is on hiatus until September 17th. I haven’t posted since April so this announcement makes official what has been an unofficial hiatus. I apologize for not making this announcement sooner. I am an intensely private person and rarely share anything about my life outside my love of M*A*S*H but have decided to make an exception. I suffer from depression and have dealt with it on and off for more than two decades. Earlier this year, things were bad enough I had trouble getting out of bed.
It’s only in the last two or three weeks that things have started improving and only in the past few days have I been able to sit at my computer and work on anything. I share this not for sympathy but because it is the truth. It’s the explanation for why I haven’t posted in months. It might seem strange but the thought of posting even a simple message about taking time off was simply too overwhelming. Anyone who has experienced severe depression will likely understand how even the simplest tasks can feel impossible.
Thankfully, I’m in a much better place these days and I’m going to spend the rest of the summer continuing to work on my mental health and, hopefully, working on MASH4077TV.com behind the scenes. If all goes to plan, I’ll be back on September 17th to celebrate the 54th anniversary of M*A*S*H, so be sure to check back.
