Actor Burt Young, best known for his role as Paulie in the Rocky franchise, died earlier this month (October 8) at the age of 83. Early in his acting career, he played Lt. Willis in the M*A*S*H episode “L.I.P. (Local Indigenous Personnel)” during Season 2.
Three years after his guest appearance on M*A*S*H, Rocky debuted in theaters with Young starring alongside Sylvester Stallone, Talia Shire, Carl Weathers, and Burgess Meredith. Four sequels followed between 1979 and 1990 with a sixth and final sequel released in 2006. Young appeared in all six films.

Along with guest starring on “M*A*S*H” and appearing in the “Rocky” series of movies, Burt Young guest starred on “Law & Order” as a paroled serial rapist.
