By way of explanation, I deduced it because of the sandbags. I don’t really remember them in the other mentioned episodes, like The Army-Navy Game or Bombed. And there is the scene where Frank has some of the enlisted dig foxholes–“The kind of hole a man will be proud to throw himself into!” This figures later in the episode, when he falls into one, and Hawk and Trapper drive a jeep over him.
So, I win “The people’s ovation and fame forever!” Allez cuisine!!!!!!! 😉
