  1. OK, here is my guess…. “As you were” – where Radar is yelling “Hey buddy, We are a hospital! How would you like it if we fired patients at you?”

  2. I’m guessing “The Colonel’s Horse” (5×12) where Radar learns that they sent him an apparent sleaze film and that he’s not willing to return it until next year.

Oh, and bad news everyone – this past Super Bowl broke GFA’s record of being the most watched program in television history. 🙁 And all these newscasters as so happy about it too. 🙁 🙁

  3. As for the record breaking – 27 years later, and any number of more televisions and watchers – and they finally got more people – but NOT a greater percentage.

Reminds me of Roger Maris’ asterisk – as he played night games and more games, so his record wasn’t considered the same as the Babes.

Well, as far as I’m concerned, that SuperBowl gets an asterisk too! 🙂

  4. Aww man, I heard that, but I was in denial :'(. I should’ve boycotted the superbowl, and gotten a couple of my MASH fan buddies to have too…. would’nt have made much of a difference, but every little bit helps. But hey, like PinkPagoda pointed out, 27 years was a great run.

  5. I did the math on the Super Bowl Ratings:

-1983 the population was around 203.2 million and 105.97 million people watched the M*A*S*H finale. That is 52% of the population. This figure is staggering!!

-Sunday, 106.5 million watched Super Bowl XLIV and our population is currently 308.6 million. That is 35% of the population. So technically M*A*S*H is still #1.

  6. “As You Were” and “The Colonel’s Horse” are both wrong. As for Super Bowl XLIV’s ratings and viewers, I’ve written a whole post about how they affect the records held by “Goodbye, Farewell and Amen.” You can read it here.

  7. I’m going to go with “The Abduction of Margaret Houlian” – at the entrance of Col. Flagg.

  8. Wait a minute! It could be from “Bug Out” when Klinger and Radar are sniffing cigars.

  9. Both parts of “But Out” depress me, but that’s mainly because of the many times I’ve had to move growing up, so it’s a little upsetting to see our favorite docs and nurses pack up and move.
