Actor Patrick “Pat” Cranshaw, who played Bob Scannell on AfterMASH, died Wednesday, December 28th at 86. Although he spent several decades as an character actor in film and television, Cranshaw is probably best known for his role in the 2003 film Old School.

A recurring character on AfterMASH through both its seasons, Cranshaw played a hilarious veteran who hung around General Pershing, the veteran’s hospital Potter, Father Mulcahy and Klinger worked.
