I can picture the scene in my mind: Father Mulcahy steps into O.R. with announcement, “Great news everyone: no more wounded!” I think that may be from “Fade Out, Fade In, Part 2,” but I wouldn’t swear to it.
Ah yes, I knew I recognized the shot but couldn’t place it until I read that. You’re right but it’s “The Smell of Music” that the scene in question is from.

yeah! fade in fade out episode! charles emerson winchester the third new surgeon! is a third change on mash unit after henry blake with sherman potter! trapper mcintyre with bj hunnicutt! and frank burns with charles emerson winchester the third! but when radar o reilly leaving mash unit! i think mash become more drama then comedy! comedy is short like before! drama is long on this serial because doctors pacients etc addapt to korean war! mostly! that’s why!
