I’ve just finished a new Prop Spotlight focusing on Radar’s teddy bear, which you can find here. I’ve always been torn about Radar sleeping with and carrying a teddy bear. On the one hand, it worked well to show how some of the men in the Korean War weren’t men at all but boys barely out of high school. At the same time, seeing Radar with the bear often felt ridiculous. Larry Gelbart felt much the same way, as you can read in the spotlight.
Additions to the list of episodes in which the bear makes an appearance are welcomed.
