    1. I think this is when Hawk was in the bus and was deciding to leave the 4077 when the army declared him dead…

  1. chuckles, you are likely right…but just to add to the discussion, Im going to say ‘Bulletin Board’

    1. I also remember it was snowing because in the earlier part of the episode when Klinger told Hawkeye and BJ that Hawk’s dad was on the phone, he threw snow on Frank’s feet.

    1. It was one of the Christmas shows….It had a lot to do with Father’s not feeling needed…..they were singing in the mess tent when Kellye looked outside and said….”It’s snowing.”

      1. You’re right… that was “Dear Sis” (7×15).

And I just remembered, I think it started to snow in “Twas the Day After Christmas” (10×10), when Hawkeye cuts open the tarp windows in O.R., and it starts snowing into the room.

So I guess it really snowed only three times on the show… in contrast to the rival Hogan’s Heroes, where the entire seven-year run was supposed to take place during winter.

  2. It snowed in “For want of a boot”, in “Dear Sis” I think (when they sang “Dona Nobis Pacem), in Death takes a Holiday, and in the Late Captain Pierce (or at least it rained). Also in Baby it’s cold outside.

      1. I just watched For want of a boot….I don’t remember it snowing…..There was rain on the ground though…..

  3. chuckles is right, it’s “The late Captain Pierce”, right at the end, when he leaves in the bus, but then decides to come back. Good job, chuckles!

  4. Darn, too late!

Yep, the episode is definitely “The Late Captain Pierce”.

    Congrats, Chuckles!

  5. “The Late Captain Pierce” is correct. Congrats to chuckles.

I thought this would be a bit tougher, to be honest.

  6. What helps is that by sure luck, I watched the episode a week or so back. That scene just happened to stick in my mind…….
