And the Winner Is: Big Daddy O’Reilly, who correctly identified “The Gun.”
Name That Episode

“The Gun” (4×14). One of my favorites from Season Four.
Dear Peggy
(I know it is probably The Gun – but I have to give Big Daddy a run for his money! lol)
*Runs after money*
Come back here money! I need to spend you!
Correct!
BDOR- You caught the money!!! Go buy the Martini’s and Medicine Box Set now! 🙂
But I oppose complete series sets unless they’re for a series that lasted only a season or two.
Really? Why is that? Did you at least buy the special Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen release with the bonus features?
Well, I’m kind of a peculiar person… I just simply feel that “complete series” sets work better when they’re applied to short-lived series that might have only been on the air for a season or two at best.
And oh yeah, I got the GFA release alright, lol.
I’m kinda the opposite. I like big series box sets like for MASH, Sanford & Son, and even the George Carlin Box Set.
Another thing too, when it comes to long-running series such as these, you’ve got certain seasons you like, certain you don’t, and in cases like that, collecting the individual season sets is the more practical road to choose.
For M*A*S*H, I like Seasons One through Three, I really likve Four and Five, and I love Six and Seven, but I hate Eight through Eleven.
Seinfeld I didn’t care for the earlier seasons (One through most of Four), but the rest of the series I love.
Bewitched was great until Season Six, not just because of the Darrin switch, but because episodes fell flat and they started becoming repetitive.
Shows like Sanford and Son, I Dream of Jeannie and Green Acres I enjoy all of the seasons, but I’d still rather get the seasons seperately than the complete series sets.
Again, short-lived shows like The Munsters is a different story, I’d buy complete series sets like that.
