  2. I recently realized that in those early episodes, Radar wasn’t the only one who wore a jeep cap, lol; I guess after a while the producers or whoever decided to make it his signature and no one else could wear one.

  3. I had never noticed that before. I think Hawkeye even wore that type of cap a few times!

  4. Meanwhile I got one from a website that retails reproductions of WW2 surplus (those caps originated in WW2, so technically Radar shouldn’t even be wearing one, lol) because the way the Army makes them today looks like crap! Great hat too, wear it all the time, lol.

  5. “Dear Dad” is correct. As for the jeep cap, I bought one as well but it shrunk when it somehow ended up in the wash. That was a mistake.

  6. Yeah, never wash one of those things, lol. Speaking of which, anyone also notice how Radar’s seemed to have shrunk at the end of “Good-bye, Radar”?

  8. I know Ken Levine was a little miffed when Gary Burghoff didn’t want to wear it anymore for his farewell episodes; Levine said without it, Radar looks liked a middle-aged balding man instead of a kid.
