United Blood Services and the local TWOK station in Meridian, Mississippi will be sponsoring a blood drive on Monday, December 30th, at the Temple Theatre ballroom from 12 noon until 7 PM. The UBS workers will be decked out in M*A*S*H outfits and a local business will be showing episodes of M*A*S*H for blood donors to enjoy.
UBS is hoping to get at least 100 quarts of blood and the organization provides blood to East Mississippi and Western Alabama hospitals. Anyone in the area who meets the guidelines set out for donors should try and get around to donating.
