The Hallmark Channel, which has acquired the cable rights to air M*A*S*H in syndication, is hoping that airings of M*A*S*H starting in 2003 will boost their sagging ratings. On a whole, the Hallmark Channel garners low ratings for all it’s programming, with the exception of a few choice specials now and then. The fact that not everyone who gets FX gets The Hallmark Channel isn’t going to help things, although if they decide to air M*A*S*H as often as FX does, who knows.
