This isn’t exactly new, I heard about it a month or so back, but I thought it was just a rumor. According to various reports by Yahoo! News, Fox is currently developing a M*A*S*H Reunion to coincide with the 30th Anniversary of the series, which will be in September of this year. The reports basically say the same thing, but one has more information than the others. Go here, here, and here for the various reports. Dated March 1st, they state that Fox is working on reunion specials for both M*A*S*H and Three’s Company, with as many cast members as possible, hoping to air them during the May sweeps.
While at first glance the word ‘reunion’ makes you think of poorly written two hours TV movies that throw together the casts of old TV shows (remember The Dukes of Hazzard reunion a few years back?), the reports make it seem that the reunions will be more of a documentary, the word special and the phrase feature a healthy dose of classic clips gives the impression that this may be more along the lines of an updated Memories of M*A*S*H.
