For the record, back in February 2015, “5 O’Clock Charlie” was voted the favorite episode from Season 2.

Personally, I like “Henry In Love” but apparently a lot of people don’t. I had trouble picking my least favorite episode from Season 2. I went back and forth between “Carry On, Hawkeye” and “Officers Only.” Eventually, I decided to cast my vote for “Officers Only” because it’s such a dull episode.

Which episode did you vote for and why? For those of you who voted for “5 O’Clock Charlie,” what don’t you like about the episode?

  1. I actually did not vote, mostly because I really don’t remember much of season 2. I tend to watch the episodes from season 4 on more often. It’s still really interesting to see what everyone’s least favorite is so far. 🙂

  2. Are people actually aware that we’re voting for least favorite episodes of each season now? Because, like last month, these results don’t make a whole lot of sense. “George,” I can understand, that episode comes off as clumsy and dated today, but why are “Operation Noselift,” “5 O’Clock Charlie,” “For Want of a Boot,” and “The Incubator” so high up on the list? Aren’t these generally fan-favorite episodes? Isn’t “5 O’Clock Charlie” in particular considered one of the funniest episodes of the whole series?

    1. That’s what I was wondering too…5’oclock Charlie is one of my favorites of the Blake-Trapper era. I’d be curious to hear why it would be someone’s least favorite.

    2. I’m starting to worry a lot of people are seeing the list of episodes and voting for their favorite without reading the poll question. I edited the title of the poll to emphasis it’s asking visitors to pick their LEAST favorite episode.

    3. My thoughts exactly! There must be some kind of a misshap about these… I love 5 O’clock Charlie!
I just voted on the new poll on LEAST fav episode in Season 3, and for example, while we, the M.A.S.H.-lovers voted Adam’s ribs for FAVORITE episode last year, now it’s on the third place for least favorite. Must be different people voting…
But I don’t have to understand everything.

  3. This was a tough season to find a bad episode. After a lot of deliberation, I voted for ‘L.I.P (Local Indigenous Personnel).’ It’s a perfectly good episode and would stack quite high on my list had it been in one of the later seasons; however, in a cracker of a second season, I don’t find it very interesting.

  4. I voted for As You Were as I just find the gorilla business too corny but on reflection Operation Noselift is actually my least favourite.

    1. Operation Noselift got my vote. It’s such a gimmicky unfunny episode, which has aged poorly, especially since the surgeon who performs the nose-job ends up sexually assaulting Margaret which gets played off for laughs. The only funny moment was the gag at the end.

Henry in Love would have been my second pick, again for the same reasons as above. The show always tried to portray Henry Blake as loving his wife and children, which made it painful when he’s trying to woo a cute cheerleader who could be his daughter.
