Over the past few weeks, a number of visitors to the site have left comments indicating they have been having problems leaving comments. The issue seems to be primarily keeping commenter name and e-mail addresses saved so they do not have to be entered each and every time a comment is left.
You might recall that I started using a new, professionally built theme last month after my other website was hacked. I have confirmed that this theme is somehow interfering with the commenter name and e-mail addresses being saved.
I am attempting to determine what exactly is going on. I have reached out to the theme’s author for help. If I cannot figure out what is going on by the end of the week, I may have to switch to another theme. So sit tight.
Update: I have made a change behind the scenes and based on my tests commenter name/e-mail information is now being stored properly. Please take a moment to test on your computers and let me know what happens.

I agree. The old site was so nice. People need to get a life.
I did like the old layout but it was really time for a change even without the hack. I had cobbled together the WordPress theme I was using from so many sources that it was barely holding together.
