M*A*S*H Reference on The Simpsons

The 36th season of FOX’s long-running animated series The Simpsons debuted earlier this week on Sunday, September 29th. The episode, titled “Bart’s Birthday,” was a mock series finale for The Simpsons. During the closing credits, parodies of famous series finales were shown including M*A*S*H with the iconic rock GOODBYE replaced by Homer Simpson’s D’OH. Take a look:

Other TV show finales parodied in the closing credits include Frasier, The Sopranos, Mad Men, and Game of Thrones.

I’ve updated the M*A*S*H References on Television page with this latest reference.
