This is a reminder that “M*A*S*H: The Comedy That Changed Television,” a new two-hour special about our favorite TV show, airs tonight at 8PM ET on FOX. The special will air in Canada on Citytv at the same time.

Watched it live last night. Very well done and a fitting tribute to the entire cast and crew. It was great to see old interviews with those that have already passed away (especially McLean Stevenson and Larry Linville). I found it interesting that Gary Burghoff was given so much interview time (he seemed to have about the same amount as was given to Alda). Given the supposed ‘bad blood’ created by Burghoff’s on set behavior during his last couple of seasons, it was great to see that time has apparently healed some old wounds. The show was great for long time fans like myself, but I can see how younger viewers might be intrigued to give it a try.
Would love if they had dropped the laugh track on the clips….I find it to be the biggest hurdle in attracting younger viewers.
