For those who haven’t noticed, I’ve been neglecting M*A*S*H, Finest Kind for the past few months. I’ve been focusing most of my attention instead on my other website, Television Obscurities. But that doesn’t mean I’ve given up on this site. The Name That Episode game is going strong, with new rounds posted twice a week. I hope to start working on a new article about M*A*S*H on VHS and DVD later this month. And I have enough entries to update My First M*A*S*H and Memorable Moments. I may also analyze the music in another episode for Music of M*A*S*H.
I’ve been kicking around a new feature for quite a while and might finally get it off the ground during the next few months. And I will be starting a giveaway in February or March. It will be open to residents of the United States and the prize will be one pack of 1982 Donruss M*A*S*H trading cards. I still have to finalize how the giveaway will be run but depending on how it goes I may run giveaways several times during the year.
Finally, I need a new slogan for the top of the site. “Celebrating Ten Years on the Internet :: 1999-2009” no longer fits. Any ideas?

Just out of mild curiosity, what did you think about the idea for maps and such for the camp, and some of its main locations?
It has been done a few times — 20th Century FOX had a map at their website for the series on DVD — but it is a neat idea. I have no idea how one would go about making a map, though, without any artistic talent. And I have no artistic talent.
Were the ones I did a little too simplistic? They were a bit more on the diagram-ish side than the map side, lol.
Thank you for the site, and for keeping it going! It’s a bit hard to find other M*A*S*H fans these days, so I appreciate all the work that goes into it.
Big Daddy O’Reilly, I’m afraid I don’t remember any maps you made, but I did lose a lot of e-mails a while back.
Mo, I’m glad you enjoy the site.
Okay, I was actually wondering why I never did hear back from you about them, but then again, I think I was having my share of e-mail problems at that time as well, lol.
2010 marks the 40th anniversary of MASH, the motion picture, 2 years before MASH, the television series debuted on CBS.
Well…I’m thinking “Celebrating Eleven Years on the Internet :: 1999-2010″ might work. 😉
