  8. Dear Mildred It took a little thinking because this scene has been cut out for years in syndication and I only saw it on DVD.

  9. “Dear Mildred” is correct. I think this should be split between Big Daddy O’Reilly, who identified the episode, and chuckles, who named it. So congrats to them both.

    1. I agree RJ. In honestly, I don’t think I could have remembered it if it wasn’t for Big Daddy recalling the scene. Big Daddy, as soon as you mentioned the song Father Mulcahy was singing, I remembered it was Colonel Potter reminiscing about it when writing a letter to his wife Mildred. That’s what made me recall the episode name. Thanks!

      1. I didn’t mean to sound like a know it all – I just remember when he sings his verse in “I don’t want no more of army life” he says “how come I wear a dress” and points to his dress.

        I didn’t get this one right either, and would NEVER have realized it was Dear Mildred!
