What a unique episode this was.
First of all, this is the one episode that features very little of Hawkeye: basically only appearing at the beginning, and during the tag; as for a treat, we're treated to a guest appearance by George Lindsey as Captain Roy Dupree from the 8063 (see, it rhymes), who was previously known to audiences as Goober Pyle from THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW; Dupree is a quite obnoxious and boorish, and we see that given a choice, Charles would definitely rather putup with Hawkeye... in fact, Charles really shines in this episode, the way he's in cahoots with B.J. to get Potter to change his mind about permanently transfering Dupree to the 4077; not to mention those last lines:
CHARLES: Pierce? I never thought the day would come where I would admit this... but God, I missed you! *Glomp*
Like "Mail Call Three" (6x21), I saw a glimpse of this episode before I watched regularly: I saw the O.R. scene where Charles was flirting with Lorraine, to Margaret's annoyance.
