So soon after Charles's transfer to the 4077th, he already seems to have everybody and everything figured out to a science, and needless to say, his descriptions of life at the 4077th and the people there in his audio tape to his parents are, to say the least, rather colorful; I like how he says he's endearing himself to Potter to get him transfered out, but he comes across as anything but endearing, and Potter's painting reflects that.
It's funny to look back on this one particular line of Charles's, describing Klinger as, "A transvestite corporal with DREADFUL taste in clothes," which makes you wonder how would he know? But since David Ogden Stiers came out several years ago, it's all the more hilarious.
Got to love how Hawkeye and B.J. were playing with Charles's mind with switching out his uniform with oversized ones to make him think he's losing weight, then undersized ones to make him think he's gaining weight... then the button: "Starting tomorrow, he gets taller!"
