I thought this would be a fun little idea for us to show what exactly we have that is of M*A*S*H, or that we may have picked up because of M*A*S*H, etc. I don't believe my collection is quite as impressive as it should be, but...
EDIT: I can't believe I actually forgot to include this...

Well, they were rival sitcoms... in fact, quite a few people who worked on M*A*S*H also worked on Hogan's Heroes; Gene Reynolds, Laurence Marks, William Jurgensen, William Christopher, Roy Goldman, John Orchard, and others all worked on Hogan as well.townsbg wrote: What does Hogan's heroes have to do with mash?

That M*A*S*H Box set is different, very cool and unique packaging. Is that a limited edition or an edition that was only exlusive to certain stores and such?
Good stuff!

Oh it is, I got it from a memoribilia store in the mall that specialized in retro and nostalgia... but then they went out of business quick, fast, and in a hurry.
As for the DVD set, yeah, I believe it was a limited edition gift set of the first five seasons, I THINK they also did a similar gift set for Seasons Seven and Eight, but I don't care for Eight, so I got Seven separately.

Why's that? Granted it gets off to a ruff start but it gets better.Big Daddy O'Reilly wrote:...but I don't care for Eight, so I got Seven separately.

Well, actually, I'm just big on Seasons Eight through Eleven in general, for pretty much all of the same reasons as everybody else: dark, preachy, just wasn't the same show, especially considering Alan and Burt had overhauled the entire writing and production staff by then.townsbg wrote:Why's that? Re: Show Us Your M*A*S*H Collection
So you didn't buy them? How is your MASH collection complete then? It's like Charles says in the finale, "It has all the charms of a smile with a tooth missing."Big Daddy O'Reilly wrote:Well, actually, I'm just big on Seasons Eight through Eleven in general, for pretty much all of the same reasons as everybody else: dark, preachy, just wasn't the same show, especially considering Alan and Burt had overhauled the entire writing and production staff by then.townsbg wrote:Why's that? I forgot I had deleted the old pic, but I think it's time I did a better, more up-to-date pic anyway, so here's my collection of actual M*A*S*H items, or items I bought that are related to M*A*S*H:

Re: Show Us Your M*A*S*H Collection
I have a lot.. That I have either made or my bf has for me. Right now we are working on the still and Rosie's bar for our up coming wedding reception. Yesterday I got the M*A*S*H 4077 vodka dispenser minus the vodka that came in it. I wish I could post picture but I always have such a bad time posting pictures on this forum. I guess I could try once more.

I wonder what it would taste like after all those years.
