What do you think of him?
Although he was always bad news, I think that he was flat out hilarious & I just wish that they'd had him on the show more.

Re: Col Flagg
Flagg's argueably one of the more popular and well-remember recurring characters from the show, his escapades are very entertaining, it's hard to believe the CIA kept such a nutjob... unless the CIA is full of nutjobs like him.
I agree, I wish he was on the show a bit more as well, though I understand the writers and producers felt he wouldn't fit in the show's darker atmosphere, since he WAS a bit of a broad character.

I didn't know that he was CIA. I thought he was army intel. I just re-watched his final episode Rally 'Round the Flagg, Boys a few days ago. He is such a hoot.

Flagg was like a bizarro James Bond.

I love him! He was hilarious! One of my favourite episodes has him in it - 'The Abduction of Margaret Houlihan'.. He had some classic lines in it!

Re: Col Flagg
Col. Flagg was probably my favorite guest character. Edward Winter was brilliant and I just wish he was in a few more episodes.
I wonder if he was a method actor and got into that charcter and stayed that way between takes and such.

I know he said that he's CIA but I never believed anything that he said.

Re: Col Flagg
I've imagined Tommy Lee Jones as Col. Flagg...and did we ever know who Col. Flagg was 'really' working for?--Which was the schtick...but one of many favorite lines of mine was, and referring to Flagg of course, was that "the wind may have just broken his arm". Col. Flagg truly added color to the show, and..u-huh..too bad he never came back once in a while.

I like that how he got into Potter's office was classified.
Re: Col Flagg
At least he appeared in AfterMASH.
