There's two reasons why I really like this episode so much: 1) There's a "simple" feel to it, I think part of it has to do with it being written by a pair of Andy Griffith writers (Everett Greenbaum & Jim Fritzel), 2) I feel M*A*S*H is definitely a go-to show for a pick me up when you feel a little down, and this episode is like what the movie DRAGNET was for me a few years ago (read the Review the Last Movie You Watched thread to see what I mean).
