You know those silly lists people do where they name the "200 things learned from" a certain movie, but only name like 15 or so? I think we should try something like that here; for starters, here's 200 things I learned watching Pee-wee...

1. You can break the laws of physics by living on land, but your bathroom window is completely under water.
2. Mr. T pity da foo who don't eat his cereal.
3. Pee-wee has the best bike in the whole world.
4. There are certain things about Pee-wee you don't understand... things you wouldn't understand... things you COULDN'T understand... things you SHOULDN'T understand...
5. If your bike is stolen, it's possible that the Soviets were involved.
6. Francis and I have similar bodies.
7. If you're a dangerous criminal and you busted out of jail, you can put people at ease by just simply telling them you cut off a "Do not remove under penalty of law" label from a mattress.
8. Never dress in drag, or escaped convicts will lust after you.
9. When walking through the woods at night, beware of scary animatronic animals that won't move or chase you.
10. If someone you're talking to says "but", don't mention the fact that everyone you know has a "big but", and ask to talk about her "big but", otherwise, her boyfriend might misinterpret what you mean.
11. Hobos love to sing, and sing, and sing, and sing, and sing, and sing, and sing, and sing, and sing, and sing, and sing, and sing, and sing, and... *gets shot*
12. The Alamo was built without a basement.
13. If you upset a biker gang, they will kill you, but if you dance in platform shoes to "Tequila", they'll not only spare your life, but they will befriend you, make you an honorary member of their club, and give you a motorcycle.
14. If you steal your own bike, and drag security guards into a chase throughout the lot of a movie studio, the studio head will turn your story into a movie.
15. You don't have to see your own movie, because you lived it.

I really wish Corner Gas lasted longer in the U.S., I only saw a couple of episodes or more, but I really liked it; I clearly remember an episode where Brent started selling blue wiper fluid instead of red (or was it red instead of blue?), and everyone was upset because they found out Corner Gas was actually over the county line (I didn't know they ad counties in Canada, lol, I know you guys have provinces instead of states, lol).

But again, CG was broadcasted in the U.S. for a short time during the fall and winter of 2007 into 2008. Canadian comedy is pwnsome; Colin Mochrie's pretty big here in the U.S. (came to town around Christmas 2007, had a great time), but I bet he's like a king of kings in the great white north.

Yeah..haha.
BRENT: We used to sell blue, now we're selling red!
WANDA: Wow...I hope we don't get trampled in the rush. (sarcasm)

OSCAR: Why's it red?
BRENT: I don't know, maybe it's cinnamon.

Watching that episode again, Corner Gas was actually over the town border not the county line. Regardless, here in this province we have "municipalities" which I think are slightly different than counties.

I actually missed a chance to see Colin Mochrie who was at a golf course for charity not far from here. I probably would have had to enter the game/dinner in order to see him so I guess that's why i didn't bother with it.

Lol, one of my fondest memories from the show was at one point, he and Brad Sherwood called a girl up on stage, and when they did, she ran over the Colin and whispered to him, "Colin? You're my secret crush!" Which was picked up by his microphone, and heard in the entire theater, to which Brad said, "Not so secret anymore now that 900 people know!" Even later still when Brad started teasing her before the game started, Colin's like, "Hey, go easy on her, she's my secret crush!" Funnier still the mousetrap game they play at the end of every show, poor Colin, one trap snapped on his foot really hard, causing him to jerk around in pain, causing more traps to snap, causing him to jerk around even more, casuing more traps to snap, and... you get the idea... but then, he snuck off to the side of the stage, and intentionally began throwing traps at Brad, from the top of his head, and of course, right down to his crotch.

Other than those guys, the only other time a big comedy star came to my town was Jerry Seinfeld: I missed seeing him the first two times he came, but third time was the charm, I saw him on my birthday a couple of years ago, and Mark Schiff (voice of Little Dog from 2 Stupid Dogs was his opening act).

I was hoping Women Fully Clothed would start a U.S. tour like they planned, if only so I could see Kathy Greenwood, but they never came down here, and I really don't know what their story is right now; the last I heard, Colin's wife Debra McGrath left the troupe, and they simply expanded their tour to other parts of Canada instead exclusive to Ontario.

We should totally make up a list for MASH!
Like everyone comes up with one (or more) thing/s we've learned from MASH and we post it and see how far we can get... Just an idea :)

Right now :)

I just made a thread in the General Discussion section.. I wasn't really sure where it should go, but it's MASH related, so i figured it should be up there..

I already replied to this, but it didn't come up :?

Anyways.. Haha yer it's pretty direct.. I had these cool ones i wanted to use, but it kept saying they were over the limit.. So i just kept it simple with one of the lines from one of my favourite subplots.. I love when Frank gets angry and Hawkeye and then he points to the Korean boys and they all go "You tell 'em Ferret Face!" Frank's face is priceless

EDIT - I've changed it again lol So my post probably won't make a whole lot of sense.. oops
