Wow, where to start... music is a big passion of mine and probably my favorite art form....so I'll try to narrow it down to ten.

The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Blues Traveler, Bruce Springsteen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Living Colour, and Talking Heads.

The Tragically Hip (Rock) 8-)
Tool (Progressive Metal, Art Rock)
The Clash (Punk Rock)
A Perfect Circle (Alt. Rock, Alt. Metal)
Pink Floyd (Progressive rock)
RUSH (Rock, Progressive?)
The Cult (Alt. Rock)
Shinedown (Hard Rock)
Alice in Chains (Grunge)

So basically any type of rock music that isn't too generic. *cough* Nickelback *cough* Occasionally I'll listen to Eminem or Puscifer.

I forgot some too! I can't believe I forgot Neil Young and Tom Petty. Those two will will always remind me of my first job working at the gas station here. It seems like the radio station played "Heart of Gold" and "Hey Hey, My My" every single time I worked.

I like 60s/70s stuff, the Kinks, Small Faces, Jefferson Airplane, Blondie, Pink Floyd, The Carpenters. I also like English Folk music like Fairport Convention and 90s Britpop stuff like Blur and Pulp. I like classical and opera too such as Gluck and Mozart, not mad on Beethoven though.

I love Celtic Woman, but my real favorite band is a Christian parody band, Apolgetix. They take popular songs and make them about the Christian religion. They've got songs on YouTube if you'd like to check them out!

I'm a rock and metal fan for the most part. I've been able to turn it into a side hobby as I write about music for two websites.

My favorite band is Savatage but they aren't active anymore.

My favorite active band is Iron Maiden.

I love getting to meet a number of the musicians I get to see in concert too.

I love Savatage, and have all of their albums. I miss them, but it's nice that we have Trans-Siberian Orchestra that they created.

I also love ZZ-Top, Jethro Tull and much more.

phantomeagle,

Yes, I love the band and have all their albums. I'm glad that there is Trans-Siberian Orchestra but I still wish that Savatage would've been more popular.

With Jon Oliva likely to never perform live again, it is doubtful.

I saw TSO once in concert, but saw Savatage three times live and got to meet some of the members each time either before the show, backstage before their set or after the show.
