Old North Korean Song

Talk about all things M*A*S*H -- the novel, the film, the television series, even the play. Not to mention the spin-offs, merchandise, cast, crew and anything else you can think of to talk about.

Old North Korean Song

Post by gryph »

Hello. I don't know if this is the correct forum for my question, but I have to try. My mother was Young Ja Kim, born 1931 near Pyongyang, North Korea. She fled to the South as a young woman during the war. She met and married my father, an American soldier. She told me about a record (song) she used to have. Years ago, she heard it on an episode of MASH. My mother and father did not watch much of MASH. They said it was too sad and hard for them because they LIVED it. All I know is the song played on an episode of MASH. It sounds like, "Audi sung, audi zung" That is all I can remember; she used to sing it to me when I was a baby. If anyone can help me or give me any info. I would very much appreciate it. My parents are deceased.
