The story itself is pretty good, although the comedy seems pretty pedestrian; it's obvious that Alan Alda is no Larry Gelbart. still a step ahead of episodes like "Cowboy", and "Edwina"

After a couple of solid efforts in "I hate a mystery" and "Germ Warfare", "Edwina" is most definitely a step backward. The second act is downright cringeworthy at times with the silly bullfight music and the slapstick clumsiness.

The whole "pretend to be sick/crazy so you can get a vacation" ploy has been done to death, ("The Honeymooners" did something similar way back when) and this particular episode adds its own twist. Until Hawkeye is placed under arrest, Things are pretty uninspired, the dog in the ...

Yep definitely BJ,..Trapper seemed like a "regular guy", Where B.J>. was whiny, self absorbed, and like Hawkeye, self righteous.. I didn't have as much of a problem with Klinger at first, I liked the idea of a scheming "street guy", he was used sparingly, and for comic relief...a...
