Re: New MeTV M*A*S*H Survey

I only got 50% similarity. It looks like picking Trapper John for many of the questions dropped by score quite a bit. I also picked Igor over Kellye and said B.J. was the person I'd probably stay in contact with.

Re: What if??

I'm not sure. It wouldn't have had nearly the same impact as killing off Henry did. Frank wasn't beloved by anyone--not even Margaret--by the end of the fifth season when Larry Linville left the series. On the other hand, we never really saw anyone at the 4077th really process Henry's death. We just...

Re: Watch New M*A*S*H TV Special Online

I just checked and the embedded video in my post about the special from earlier this year still works. Hopefully it plays for you, too.

Re: Mash box set ?

That's great news. I have a vague memory of reading about a version of the set with a t-shirt but can't recall any details.

Re: Watch New M*A*S*H TV Special Online

Ed Asner hosted a benefit gala that Swit, Farrell, Burghoff, and Farr were part of. These interviews were taped prior to the gala, so Ed Asner was probably hanging around the hotel and someone asked him to participate. I'm not sure how William Christopher got involved in the special, because he wasn...

Watch New M*A*S*H TV Special Online

I'll be posting about this at my blog in the next few days but thought I'd share it here, first. Back in early March, TV station WTVG (13ABC) in Toledo, Ohio aired a half-hour TV special called "M*A*S*H Memories & Magic" featuring interviews with Loretta Swit, Mike Farrell, Jamie Farr, Gary Burghoff...

Re: 2009 TVLand Awards

I don't know if you've seen this post at my blog about the 2009 TV Land Awards. It doesn't include any video, unfortunately, but it has a few pictures and a transcript of Alan Alda's speech accepting the Impact Award. TV Land used to have the video at its website but it's been gone for years. I didn...

MeTV "M*A*S*H Memories" Videos

I just stumbled upon these. MeTV has uploaded its "M*A*S*H Memories" videos to YouTube. These originally aired as part of a special three-hour "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen" special in May 2015. Previously, they were only available online through MeTV's website. I've embedded all the videos below but ...

Re: More MeTV Articles

I saw the article with the guest stars. Should I be proud of myself for knowing all of those guest stars were on M*A*S*H? As for the behind-the-scenes pictures, it's nice to see high quality versions of the Prince Charles/Alan Alda picture and the McLean Stevenson/Gary Burghoff photo. I've only crum...

I also scored 11 out of 11. I know it's silly, but I think I would have felt bad if I hadn't answered every question correctly.

How do you watch M*A*S*H?

Have we had this exact poll before? I may have used it at the website. I can't remember. I was thinking the other day about the last time I watched M*A*S*H on TV rather than on DVD or Netflix and it was probably back in 2003 when the show started airing on the Hallmark Channel here in the States. Th...

Best Trapper episodes

If you haven't heard yet, Wayne Rogers passed away yesterday. In light of this sad news, I thought it appropriate to discuss the very best Trapper episodes. There's "Requiem for a Lightweight" from Season 1, "Kim" from Season 2, and "Check-Up" from Season 3. "Radar's Report" contains perhaps the sin...

Re: Mash box set ?

I believe the Martinis & Medicine has been out-of-print for several years. I don't remember reading about it being reissued or rereleased. However, there are some images at Amazon.com that show a " bundle set " of all 11 seasons in shrink wrap. These may be leftover stock of the repackaged "slim" in...

A few episodes edited on Netflix

I discovered today that edited, syndicated versions of three Season 6 episodes are on Netflix:

"The Winchester Tapes"
"The Light That Failed"
"Images"

Each clocks in at roughly 21 minutes rather than 24-25. I took a quick look and did not uncover any other episodes that seem to run short.
