Re: Please Help Identify this M*A*S*H 10th Anniversary Watch
I do recall something about watches being given out. I am trying to find a reference to this somewhere, but I am glad I am not the only one who remembers a watch being discussed!

Please Help Identify this M*A*S*H 10th Anniversary Watch
Hello fellow M*A*S*H fan! In addition to collecting M*A*S*H objects, I also have had quite a watch collection over the years. I recently picked up this watch because of the M*A*S*H connection, but I was intrigued by the name David Pollock on the dial. We know Pollock was a writer for the series, so ...

Re: Cameras in M*A*S*H
Just an update on what I have discovered in my research. I was able to determine that the camera used in the episode is a Polaroid Land Model 95 , which was the first camera from Polaroid and introduced in 1948 (and was produced until 1961). This would put it in the time-frame for M*A*S*H. As the ep...

Cameras in M*A*S*H
As a M*A*S*H fan and a photographer, I am wondering if any one knows the models of cameras used in the series. I am familiar with the Minox (and own one), but I am unable to confirm the model of Polaroid from "Snap Judgement" and "Snappier Judgement." I remember reading an articl...

Re: Sidney's name changed twice!
Unfortunately, I do not know who the script belonged to. Just part of the fun I guess!

Re: (11x16) 256 - Goodbye, Farewell and Amen
The pinnacle of the series. I have always thought that GFA was the perfect ending to the series, but I have to wonder, what would script have been like if the wild fire had not burned the set in Malibu? What would the 2nd storyline have been?

Sidney's name changed twice!
As we all know, when Dr. Freedman was introduced in "Radar's Report," he was called "Milton." It was in "Deal Me Out" he was first called Sidney and the name stuck for the rest of the series. As some of you know, I collect production scripts from the series, and I recen...

Re: Which (If Any) Episodes Make You Cry?
The last scene in GFA, seeing "Goodbye" written out, really gets me. "Abyssinia, Henry" does as well. The final scene in the OR. "Old Soldiers" is the other. Harry Morgan was brilliant in that episode.

Re: ebay items that say there from the set
I have a few props and wardrobe from the show. There are a few ways to help determine authenticity. Most of the props were provided by Ellis Props and Graphics. The company shut down several years ago and sold everything at auction. Their Certificates of Authenticity hold up. I have a mess kit and c...

Re: M*A*S*H timeline
The dates look good. The only issue I see is the October 31, 1953 for Halloween. They should not have been in Korea in Oct. 1953 since the war ended in July. Please repost this RJ!

Re: 1990s M*A*S*H TV Commercial
I was involved in making that spot. We did it around 1989-90. It is not Kenny G. Yes, we had an instrumental version created specifically. It was shot on the Universal backlot and used to promote M*A*S*H in syndication. Thanks for the insight. It is one of my favorite M*A*S*H commercials. "Sui...

Thanks RJ. I will check out the documentary. I would love to get the theme song on the sax. It sounds incredible!

1990s M*A*S*H TV Commercial
When I was a kid there was a commercial advertising M*A*S*H. The commercial features a man (it is either Kenny G, or supposed to be) playing the M*A*S*H theme song on a saxophone in front of a TV store. The TVs in the window are playing scenes from M*A*S*H. Does anyone remember this commercial? Was ...
