Re: Occasional Medical Mistakes

I've noticed the glove thing too. I'm no doctor, but that seems dangerous. My wife even takes notice of it. "Did you see that? He went to work on that other guy without changing his gloves." I do keep in mind that it's meatball surgery. I'm sure it's not the worst done in the name of war. I read abo...

Re: Dose anyone know....

The one that looks like the Umbrella Corporation logo from Resident Evil is 581st Sig. Co. 8th Army In Korea. I think the one right below that is an old Airborne patch. It is similar to ones worn by Airborne in WWII. The one to the right of that might be an old Strategic Air Command unit patch.

Re: Another Have You Noticed

The mysterious P.A. Announcer is named. During the ceremony for the "dead" Luxembourg soldier, Henry yells "Tony, hit it." and the Luxembourg anthem starts playing and the P.A. Announcer says, "the national anthem of Luxembourg...". The voice belongs to Todd Susman, who appeared in an episode of MA...

Re: M*A*S*H timeline

I look for clues to things mentioned on the show. Credit cards are mentioned a few times. I thought to myself, were credit cards were around then. I had to look it up. I've also looked up various models of Jeeps they've had on the show. Some of them weren't around 'til after the Korean war. In "The ...

Re: 4077th division??

In “Yessir, That’s Our Baby”, when BJ and Hawk are visiting with the Army guy about getting the baby back to the states, the Army guy rattles off who has to sign off on the paperwork. He's specific and this could be the chain of command for the 4077 or whatever MASH was out there.

Re: 4077th division??

Well, I believe they were 8th Army. Currently, under the 8th Army is the 65th Medical Brigade. MASH could have been under the 65th, but I doubt it. Since they were deployable and mobile, they were probably under something else. The 8055 would become the 43d Surgical Hospital (Mobile Army). The only ...

I have always wanted to do this, or at least, have a "Swamp" to hang out in.

Re: MASH Top 10 Episodes

I'm officially changing my favorite episode to "The Incubator". I watched it twice last night. The verbal exchange between Hawkeye, Trapper, Henry and Capt. Sloan is priceless.

Re: Another Have You Noticed

This is a good one! In “Communication Breakdown” at about 8 minutes into the episode, there is a supergoof! I can't believe I didn't notice this ever before. In the scene where Charles is talking about his silly news papers, you can very clearly see a production guy standing in the background watchi...

Re: Another Have You Noticed

This gets me, too, such as in "The Party" episode where B.J. planned the stateside get-together. It was discussed right in front of secondary characters, but it seemed like only the primary characters' families seemed to be included in it. Nurse Kellye even reported to B.J. that all along the convo...

Re: Anyone of Fame?

Loretta Swit may have left a comment in response to an April 2011 post of mine. I have no way of confirming it was her but it seems like a really bizarre thing for someone to fake given how low-key it was. The same goes for scriptwriter Elias Davis, who responded to a July 2010 post. Can these post...

Re: Give Igor a Chance!

Klinger was a bit of a misfit too, but he worked well in the company clerk position. I think Igor could have added so much more to the show. I think at about season 3 or 4, the show looses much of its humor to give way to more serious issues. Igor could have provided more comedic relief than Klinger...
