Of course, M*A*S*H got a well-deserved number one spot. THE ODD COUPLE (Tony Randall and Jack Klugman) got earned a respectable number two spot. Other than that, I had no idea that ALICE, WHAT'S HAPPENING!!, and HOUSECALLS were based on movies too.

I watched "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" several years ago and its quite different than the sitcom "Alice". The film is a drama that takes a strong look at life for a widowed mother trying to make ends meet.
