M*A*S*H on WWL-TV

Here is an ad---whose photo doesn't do the 4077th justice!---heralding the offnetwork debut of M*A*S*H on New Orleans' CBS affiliate, WWL-TV Channel 4, on September 17, 1979, ironically a good 17 years to the day of its CBS primetime premiere. It aired, as the ad attests, weeknights @ 10:35 PM (following Eyewitness News at 10:00 PM) until 1995, when it defected to WVUE-TV FOX 8 for a couple years before cable TV set in.
