Dog Tags

I find it weird that some characters have dog tags hanging out all the time and others seem to always have them tucked in, or not have any at all at times.....thoughts?

Well, think about this: we see Hawkeye, Trapper, B.J, Margaret, and Radar's dog tags all the time... why? Because they all wear their fatigues unbuttoned (in Margaret's case, she just usually wears her t-shirt), so their dogtags are always exposued; Frank, Potter, Klinger, Mulcahy, and Charles, on the other hand, button their fatigues, so their dogtags are concealed (and of course, Henry wore his little fishing ensemble, so his were probably tucked too).
