(09x18) 216 - Blood Brothers

Use this thread to discuss 09x18: Blood Brothers.
I know it sound strange, considering how effective some of MASH's dramatic moments are, but before my current rewatch of the series, where one or two episodes have hit me pretty hard, this was the only episode I actually remember causing me to cry. Of course some episodes came very close, but this episode was the only one that really pushed me over the edge, specifically during Mulcahy's speech at the end. That moment, as he is faced with his own selfishness, compared to the actions of Patrick Swayze's character was such a profoundly beautiful moment for the character, and may very well have been William Christopher's greatest acting in the series IMO.
So, needless to say, I loved this episode and thought that both stories worked together extremely well.
