I know this episode's kind of controversial, and it's easy to see why someone wouldn't care for it. Besides the fact that it doesn't exactly paint Hawkeye in the best light, it's definitely not a perfect episode by any means. Most notably, the writing for the general may have been a bit forced, and Klinger's side-story was kind of out of place. Even so, I really liked this one. I love when they show is willing to examine Hawkeye in a much more critical way. It may not have been the best episode in this regard (I really liked "Commander Pierce"), but I still loved the way they presented his character in this episode. Also, outside of the writing for the general, I thought they handled the subject matter pretty well. I especially liked the argument between Hawkeye and BJ, which I know stemmed from a similar debate between Alan Alda and Mike Farrel.
