When you consider what the rest of Season Eight is like, this episode feels incredibly out of place, it almost feels as if this was held over from Season Seven.

The A-story was Private Paul Conway being a cook, and providing the 4077th with the first decent meals they had in a long time provided some enjoyment, but the B-story with Potter and Mildred's marriage on the rocks, and Potter taking his anger out on everyone felt trite and tired, because it was already done the previous season where Potter forgot to call home and wish her a happy anniversary, thus, taking his anger out on everyone in camp.

A mostly enjoyable, though a bit unremarkable episode. I did like the reactions to his cooking, even having Charles being impressed (though I imagine that's largely because of how long he's been eating army food).

I do agree that Potter's story didn't really do much for me, since they've done something similar before, and did it better. Though I did kind of like Margaret's talk with Potter, giving her perspective on things.
