Re: "I've Got an Amusing Anecdote..."

Actually, when I think about it, I pretty much unwittingly started a trend there, because by the time that fall and winter came, almost everyone in town was wearing those caps! So much for my individuality! :( But, on the plus side, nobody else wears the correct original style, though last year, I D...

Re: "I've Got an Amusing Anecdote..."

You call a McDonald's meal, dinner? I'm not saying that I would make a meal out of McDonald's every night, it was one of those nights where you don't have anything in the house to eat for dinner, nor do you have enough dough to actually go to a restaurant for a real meal, so you're reduced ...

"I've Got an Amusing Anecdote..."

A memory just surfaced into my mind that you guys might find amusing, because I certainly did... This was a few years ago at McDonald's getting dinner, but it was going to take a little while, so I grabbed a seat and waited; on the other side of the restaurant, there was a gang of punk skateboarders...

Re: What Was Your Favorite Shows To Watch When You Were A Ki

I like Arthur too, as a little kid, I enjoyed the books, then when the show finally came on (I know the show came out in 1996, but my PBS affiliate didn't start airing it regularly until 2000), I really enjoyed it as well. My only problem is that the newer episodes and seasons are TERRIBLE! Not only...

Re: Episode 10.1 and Pierce's view on Women

I do remember also when him and Margaret where MIA and during that "something" happened between them. After that she asked him what they where going to tell Donald and he was clearly panicked over that. Well frankly, I would've panicked too... I mean I wouldn't think of being &quo...

Re: Episode 10.1 and Pierce's view on Women

Well, remember that Hawkeye became a bit of a more sensible character in those later seasons, drinking less and not chasing after nurses so much; some say it was the network forcing the show to become more politically correct, others like Mike Farrell said it was them looking back on what they had d...

Re: Frank's Scrapbook

He probably put the group shot of the entire camp Hawkeye took for MacArthur in his scrapbook, I bet.

But I'm willing to bet that he more than likely has a whole secret stash of provocative photos of Margaret hidden somewhere, and I'm sure a few of them contain nude shots as well.

I'm pretty sure that's the defualt theme that comes with all new phpBB forums like this.

The older version of phpBB had a similar theme called "subSilver", basically it was a more grayish theme.

Re: The Future of Entertainment

I leave whenever there is some kind of sex involved in Big Bang (wow that sounded dirty) because it's always a pathetic attempt at humour and mixing things up between characters. Exactly my point: THAT is what's considered comedy anymore these days. Today's Comedy = Let's put so-and-so in bed with ...

Re: The Future of Entertainment

I'd actually argue that "Big Bang" falls into the trashy category, or at least it seems like whenever I look up whenever it's on, the characters are naked in bed with other characters. Funnily, people are always shocked to find out I don't like the show, because they assume it's up my alle...

Who Was Your Most Relatable Character?

One of the many things the show was always praised for was it's realistic and believable characters that just about everyone out there could relate to: I've known people who seem like direct descendants of Margaret and Frank (I don't mean the affair, I mean the woman who can have a short fuse, and t...
