Re: Have You Ever Read The Book?

Apparently, M*A*S*H (Three Army Doctors) was the first in a series of M*A*S*H books by Richard Hooker. I liked the first one, so I might try to find the others.

Re: Another Have You Noticed

Just noticed this in “A Full Rich Day”...There's a scene where Trapper is working on a wounded soldier in the ER while the soldier's Lt looks on with a rifle. As the scene progresses and the camera starts to pan around, Trapper throws a blood soaked gauze at the gas passer (I assume not on purpose)....

Re: What are the Odds of THIS?

Dang! If you're talking about the MASH lane in Knoxville, TN, I'm only 30 minutes from there. I may have to drive over and see it.

Re: Something New I Noticed in "House Arrest"

Maybe Henry just knew Frank was a jerk and that the attacks on Frank would continue no matter what. Maybe in order to calm Frank, he had to remove Hawkeye from the situation. I was watching "For the Good of the Unit" today and laughed my butt off when Frank talked about how Hawkeye and Tra...

Re: Who Would You Cast?

I've got pictures for all these, but I can't figure out how to include them. All show a close resemblance to the original characters. I'm still trying to find a Klinger and Frank Burns. My original post disappeared, so sorry if this shows twice. Johnny Galecki (Radar) Jessica Simpson (Maj. Houlahan)...

Re: What are the Odds of THIS?

I tried to upload the pictures I have, but they wouldn't upload or don't show up for some reason or another. Although it was a hike to get there, the MASH set at Malibu Creek is one of my most favorite visited places.

Re: What are the Odds of THIS?

Try this link...I used this to help find the exact spot for the site when my family and I went to Malibu Creek State Park last year. It's good because it shows the position of some of the buildings. http://wikimapia.org/#lat=34.096416&lon=-118.744773&z=18&l=0&m=b&search=MASH%20Set

Re: Who Would You Cast?

I'm working on this one. I've often thought about who I would cast in a remake. I'm having trouble finding a Frank Burns and a Klinger, but for the most part, I've got the others. I'll post who I have so far... Johnny Galecki (Radar) Jessica Simpson (Maj. Houlihan) Christian Bale (Hawkeye) Seth Roge...

Re: Which (If Any) Episodes Make You Cry?

I get a little choked up when "Oh, How We Danced" comes on. I can relate to BJ in that episode. It's tough being in a completely foreign place and away from your family for months. I've been there and done that. I also get a little choked up when in "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen" t...

Re: Another New Fanfic... with an OC

Writing is a bit of an old hobby for me. I've thought of writing whole new episodes for MASH, but have not had the time to do it. I like what you've done here. Why Knoxville?

Re: Alternate Pilot Print?

Your post got me thinking (that's dangerous). Anyway, I'm sure there's tones of footage out there we've never seen and probably never will. It's probably locked away in a vault somewhere and in 500 years it will be found and placed in some museum as "ancient films". What I really started t...

Re: Another Have You Noticed

If you watch "The Winchester Tapes", notice when Col. Potter is painting Winchester's picture, the completed picture is visible from the back. You can see the picture of Winchester screaming before he ever gets angry. At times, you can see it from the front because of camera angles too.

This is interesting. Did you try researching through the US Army archives? Even though the information may not be on the Internet, you may be able to get info via the Freedom of Information Act. It would probably have to be a written request. I've thought about doing it, but have been too busy.

Re: Another Have You Noticed

I was watching "The Party" and noticed another recycling of props. When they are coming back from the bug out location and reading the letters from home, notice they are supposed to be in different vehicles, but they're not. The ambulance they are all riding in has the same suspicious rust...
