Re: 200 Things I Learned Watching *Blank*

15 Things I learned watching Star Trek Tribbles are trouble! Vulcans can procreate with humans, so be careful who you date. Transporting is a ridiculous way to travel, scattering a mans molecules all over the universe! If you are allergic to the drops that make your eyes work, you will have to use o...

Re: What Are Your Favorite Board Games To Play?

Ah Trouble - with the pop-o-matic! It was great for kids, because you couldn't lose the dice! Also, it taught you how to play "Sorry" later in life, and also Parchisi - both games are a little more sophisticated version of Trouble! I love Scrabble, because I love words. But I hate Scrabble...

Re: Margaret's Pregnancy Scare

I just looked up gall bladder symptoms on-line, and while gall stones cause the sharp pain your mother (and my sister) experienced because they look like big stony sand-spurs - a silent gall stone, meaning one without the barbs, can bring on the symptoms Margaret experienced, including "that ti...

Re: Favorite lady for Hawkeye

Of course Kyung Soon, but as we know, wartime romances.... I think he and Margaret might have made a good couple AFTER the war, but Margaret was a career army nurse, and Hawkeye was NOT career Army. I think Nurse Kelley would have been a wonderful match for Hawkeye, because of the great person she t...

Re: My Study of Father Mulcahy's Character

He is one of my favorite characters, and I saw a lot of growth on the part of Mulcahey during the series. His realization that his desire for promotion and for recognition (which is in more than one episode) were petty and small in light of the "Blood Brothers" incident with Patrick Swayze...

Re: Post-mash shows

I liked Trapper John M.D. - and the opening credits to this can be found on you tube. They contain what appears to be a picture of the Hawkeye and Trapper of the television show on his wall, along with other pix from Korea. The faces are obscure so you can't tell if it really is Alda and Rogers, but...

Help with MASH Trivia

Does anyone know the entire "script" by Hawkeye during the Episode "Dear Sigmund" where he acts like Groucho Marx? It starts with "Nurse Nurse" - "did you call me Dr" - "Why would I call you doctor? I'm the surgeon." And ends up with something about ...

Re: M*A*S*H on the Silver Screen!

I saw the movie when it first came out, and at the time, it was very relevant. You will notice that the word "Korea" is never used in the movie - with the exception of at the very beginning when the credits say "And then there was Korea". This was added at the insistence of the p...
