Re: How do you know episodes titles?

Production numbers are included in the closing credits to all the episodes.

Re: Funky Background Music?

I can't say I loved all of the "funky" music but I do appreciate how the earlier seasons use more incidental (or background) music.

Re: Winchester answering mail

I don't think I ever paid close attention the actual prop leaf. I'd like to think the writers wanted Charles not to correct the mistake but it's possible the prop department couldn't find the right leaf. It's a mystery.

I don't know exactly what link you stumbled upon but it's perfectly okay for people to respond to topics from years ago if they're interested in the discussion or have something to add.

Re: Mash Set Piece Sold at Smithsonian?

The Smithsonian gift shop sold pieces of wood taken from either Rosie's Bar or the supply building formerly located on the Stage 9 sound stage at the 20th Century Fox studio lot where interiors for M*A*S*H were filmed. Here's a link to a recent eBay auction for one of the Smithsonian pieces of wood:...

Re: Funky Background Music?

I checked the music cue sheet for "The Trial of Henry Blake." The piece of music you're asking about is called "Did You See That" and was written by regular M*A*S*H composer Benny Golson and published by Fox Fanfare Music, Inc.

Re: Everett Greenbaum talks M*A*S*H

There are a ton of Television Academy Foundation interviews with cast and crew from M*A*S*H. I wish I had the time to sit down and watch them all.

Re: 2018 DVD set

According to this review at Amazon, yes: One nice feature is the ability to disable the laugh track that was originally broadcast with the series on TV. I actually prefer to watch the episodes this way. But to do this is very awkward. Turning the Laugh Track On/Off is a Global setting that applies t...

Re: Running nurses

I sometimes feel the same way when I watch a TV show from the 1950s/1960s/1970s and realize how much time has passed.

Re: Funky Background Music?

I don't know the answer off the top of my head but I'll try to take a look at the music cue sheet for "The Trial of Henry Blake" (the episode with Klinger hang gliding) this weekend and see what it says.

Re: AfterMASH

I'm going to be reviewing episodes of AfterMASH starting in September, timed to coincide with the show's 35th anniversary. My plan is to start watching and reviewing next month. I may post some random thoughts and comments here as I go through the episodes.

Second surgical shift?

I watched "Private Charles Lamb" the other day. There's a PA announcement asking both surgical shifts to report to the OR. Are there other references to a second surgical shift in other episodes? I can't recall any off the top of my head.

M*A*S*H in HD (and Widescreen)

I thought I'd start a topic here to discuss M*A*S*H in HD and widescreen on Hulu . I wrote about this at my blog a few weeks ago . I don't subcribe to Hulu, so I haven't seen any of the newly remastered episodes. As I've said elsewhere, I'm happy about the new HD transfers. I don't like the episodes...
