I’m not watching Jeopardy! nearly as often as I used to, so it is possible there have been M*A*S*H clues that I’ve missed. There was one last month that I’ve been meaning to add to my M*A*S*H on Jeopardy! page and today I finally got around to doing it. During the February 21st episode, in the Double Jeopardy round, this was the $400 clue in the “Death on a Sitcom” category: “In 1975, Lt. Col. Henry Blake was discharged from the Army, then from life in a place crash on this show.” One of the contestants was able to ring in with the correct answer.

I’ve updated M*A*S*H on Jeopardy! with four clues relating to M*A*S*H from this year (dating back to May) and including one from last night’s episode:

During the Jeopardy round in the “Initial TV” category, the $400 clue was “Hawkeye & Trapper John shared a tent called The Swamp on this sitcom.” A contestant correctly rang in with the answer.

During the Double Jeopardy! round of last night’s Jeopardy!, in the Who Played ‘Em On TV category, the $600 clue was about M*A*S*H, asking contestants to identify who played “Army company clerk Radar O’Reilly.” One contestant chimed in correctly with the answer: Gary Burghoff. I’ve updated M*A*S*H On Jeopardy!.

I’ve been spending a lot of time watching the Olympics this week so I haven’t had the chance to catch Jeopardy! much lately. Luckily, Tom was watching on Tuesday, February 16th and let me know that there was a M*A*S*H “question” (recall that Jeopardy! works by providing “answers” or clues and contestants reply in the form of a question ). It came during the Double Jeopardy round in a category called Direct TV. The $400 clue was “cast members Mike Farrell and David Ogden Stiers both directed episodes of this hit show” and a contestant correctly rang in with “What is M*A*S*H?” I’ve updated M*A*S*H on Jeopardy! accordingly.

I’ve been sitting on this one for more than a month, having totally forgotten about it shortly after seeing the episode in question. During the Monday, November 16th episode of Jeopardy!, a Double Jeopardy question in the “TV Reveille” category concerned Loretta Swit and her character of Major Margaret Houlihan. One of the contestants was able to correctly ring in with the answer. I’ve updated M*A*S*H on Jeopardy! accordingly.
