Enid Kent, who played Nurse Bigelow on M*A*S*H from 1976 to 1983, will be interviewed today about her mother, actress Irene Dedrow, as well as her own career. “Stu’s Show” airs live every Wednesday at 7PM ET/4PM PT. Hosted by Stu Shostak, “Stu’s Show” is an Internet radio show devoted to TV history.

Here’s the official description of the broadcast:

Irene Tedrow was one of those instantly-recognized, extremely talented character actresses that popped up on nearly every TV series from the 1950s through the 1980s. She began in radio, easily segued to television, and also made numerous appearances in feature films and on stage. Baby boomers probably remember her best for her role as Mrs. Elkins, the neighbor who was always giving Mr. Wilson problems on “Dennis the Menace”, but she was also seen on “The Burns and Allen Show”, “The Jack Benny Program”, “Perry Mason”, a classic episode of “The Twilight Zone”, and literally thousands of others. Her daughter, Enid is also a fine actress in her own right. For seven years, she played Nurse Bigelow on “M*A*S*H” as well as recurring roles on “Family Ties”, “Head of the Class”, and many more. Enid also appeared in a stage production of “Our Town” with her mom and Henry Fonda in 1969. We’ll talk about all of this plus we’ll read your e-mails in what promises to be a very entertaining session!
