  1. Season 9 really has no good episodes, but I voted for “No Sweat,” if only because, as I’ve mentioned before, living in a southern state where it gets really hot in the summer (thank God fall weather has finally arrived), this is a very relatable episode.

  2. I’ve decided that I’m looking forward to January, when it’ll be time to do the poll on favorite “AfterMASH” episode…!

  3. I voted for ‘Operation Friendship’ just because Hawkeye showed, in this episode, that he was as good a friend to BJ as Beej was to him. Most of the time, it’s always Hawkeye doing something with BJ backing him up so it all seemed a bit one sided. Here, he finally shows how much he values his relationship with his roommate. I know, Hawkeye is ultra irritating in this episode with his unprovoked outbursts at Traeger but I thought the underlying message about camaraderie was nicely done.

  4. I voted for “Death Takes a Holiday”. IMO, it showed a side of Charles rarely seen.
The scene when Klinger serves Charles Christmas leftovers and tells him subtly about the source of the dinner remaining anonymous was very moving.

  5. I voted for “Your Retention Please”. I love the irony of Klinger re-enlisting in the Army, although I found Hawkeye’s reaction to this news stilted and boring.

I also picked this episode due to the appearance of Barry Corbin as Sgt. Vickers. Corbin has always been one of my favorite actors and I enjoyed his small part in this episode.

  6. I was torn between Death Takes a Holiday, of which is my favorite Christmas episode, and A War for All Seasons, of which I voted for. One thing I enjoy with living in PA is the changing of the seasons and, like BDOR mentioned too, I can relate to with this episode. I also really enjoy Letters, especially the part of when Winchester opens up the letter with the leaf inside….I really like Winchester’s character and especially enjoy the parts of when he brings down his barriers to show his compassionate side….of which was mentioned above with Death Takes a Holiday. I totally agree – I love to watch the ending part with him and Klinger.

So, for me, it was nice to see these three episodes as the top three.

  7. I voted for “A War For All Seasons”. It’s probably my favorite episode of the show. I just remember being blown away by the concept of the episode when I saw it originally aired as a kid, and I think it’s amazing.
