Scriptwriter Gary David Goldberg, who created Family Ties and co-created Spin City, passed away yesterday (June 23rd) at the age of 68. Goldberg also created a pair of less well-known dramas Brooklyn Bridge and The Bronx Zoo and penned multiple episodes of The Tony Randall Show, Lou Grant. He also wrote a single episode of M*A*S*H: “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” from Season Seven.
