Wow… I actually have no clue… I don’t recall Hawkeye and B.J. playing chess outside the Swamp at all.
I DO recall the stories Alan Alda set about rats in the sound stage that would come in and pee on the chess set in the middle of the night.

BTW, is anyone else besides me having trouble watching videos on this site… or has Finest Kind fallen victim to “we don’t love IE6 anymore” as well?
BDOR, I remember hearing the story about the rats, too. Was that from the 20th anniversary program?
And nope, I have no troubles with the videos, but I have IE 8.
BJ and Trapper have very similar silk robes, except Trap’s has waves. Hmmm … hidden message??

Tell it to the Marines is one of my favorite episodes. I did not see it until I bought the DVDs for Season 9. I do not think I have ever seen it in reruns.
Also, I have no problems viewing videos on Safari.
Mrs. Burns – yes, I believe that story was from the 20th anniversary… and I’ve noticed on few occasions (particularly Season Six) Beej wearing Trapper’s old oriental robe.
That story with the rats is also in Alan Alda’s memoir “Never Have Your Dog Stuffed”

And Big Daddy O’Reilly, there shouldn’t be any problems with the videos under IE 6.0 as far as I know. It could be an issue with Adobe Flash Player.
Whatever the problem was, seems to be okay now.
